Coffee good or bad?

My everyday moment of happiness has to be in bed drinking coffee with my husband. Every morning he gets me a cappuccino with freshly whipped almondmilk. A time for us two to start a great day.

When we just arrived to live in NYC, we usually went to Starbucks to get a coffee. It felt like a kind of "holiday feeling", something we did not have in the Netherlands. Meanwhile, more and more branches started and Starbucks opened in the Netherlands. In search of the perfect coffee, we discovered the smaller cozy coffee shops in NYC. The baristas who carry out their profession with passion. There is still one Starbucks store that I definitely do not skip when I'm there, and that is Miami South Beach, the location is great, Ocean Drive overlooking the sea.

Still we find new coffee business in the city, so far our favorite JOE, various locations in the City. Unique Organic coffee, which is made with love and passion. I am a huge fan of cappuccino with almond milk, preferably unsweetened version. What makes me really happy is something nice but responsible "healthy" along with the coffee. And they certainly have at JOE, various gluten free cookies and cardamom pistachio cake! Soooo yummy. So 1x week I treat myself coffee with cake

A few weeks ago I was back in the Netherlands and there is a special place where I like to have my coffee, Boot Coffee/ Golden Coffee Box. Unfortunately in the Netherlands Almond milk is not really known yet. That should not spoil the fun, I immensely enjoyed my freshly brewed Ethiopian coffee.

While in New York, I love Soho, you can regularly find me there. After my yoga class, I love to enjoy a coffee while working on my computer. Ground support is my favorite. Coffee is delicious, and enough place to sit down. During the weekend it can be pretty busy. And if we get visitors from the Netherlands we gladly take them to this place.

I really am a coffee lover, I enjoy a good cup of coffee. There always is the question; is coffee actually good or is it bad for your health? Recently I read a very inspiring book "Living a century or more" William Cortvriendt, MD. A must read! It states that drinking coffee, decaffeinated or regular upkeep is associated with a decrease of the risk for stroke, coronary heart disease, diabetes and infections. especially For those persons who drink at least two or three cups per day. Moreover, the facts in the book are scientifically substantiated. There are likely to examine that claim that coffee is bad. I keep it in 2 cups of coffee a day and really enjoy it. What’s your favorite coffee or coffee place?
