Vail is my new number 1!

Skiing is something I am really passionate about, but skiing in Vail added a whole new dimension to it. I've skied all my life, and thereby have been in many great places in the world to ski, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, Canada, and United States (Aspen). However, last January I went to Vail, Colorado for the first time and, oh boy, that was really something special.

The area has so much to offer, for beginners to advanced, well-groomed slope to unprepared buggle slopes. Particularly the Back Bowls. From the village, you can take a number of lifts to the top, take a path that brings you to the back of the mountain. Wow, what a beautiful view. The Back Bowls are mostly unprepared slopes where you ski through the trees. Beautiful long runs through the powder snow what an experience.

In Europe we are used to take a winding mountain pass upwards after the highway, after an hour's drive comes nauseous at your destination. We drove from Denver to Vail, a drive of about 1.5 hours. Denver is situated at an altitude of 5265 ft. (1605 m). You will notice as soon as you go up considerably on the highway, the road we came signs against height of 11158 ft. (3400 m)

A beautiful route to drive. On the highway, take the exit Vail village is 8120 ft. (2475m). The village has an Austrian appearance with the American friendliness. Many shops, coffee shops and restaurants.

As a Healthy food addict, I could eat my heart out! Both in the village and on the slopes I was able to get enough healthy and delicious food. To work with your passion gives so much energy and inspiration. So in the morning, computer open to do some work, enjoying a cup of coffee, overlooking the white peaks. I like that can work flexibly. Vail you are my new favorite number 1
